Sounds great, doesn\u2019t it? However, where there are no boundaries, there are no traditional laws. Behind the promise of virtual freedom lies true legal chaos.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-5bbf9cb\" data-block-id=\"5bbf9cb\"><style>.stk-5bbf9cb .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-5bbf9cb .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\"><strong>How can we establish order in a world that does not obey the rules of physical reality?<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-27a3073\" data-block-id=\"27a3073\"><style>.stk-27a3073 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-27a3073 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\"><strong>The rules of the old world don\u2019t apply in the new<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3d2035c\" data-block-id=\"3d2035c\"><style>.stk-3d2035c .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-3d2035c .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">Our legal systems have been built for centuries on the concepts of the tangible world: territory, ownership of physical objects, face-to-face interactions. The metaverse erases all these boundaries and creates unique problems.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"custom-list\">\n  <li>Ownership problem: What does it really mean to own virtual property, such as a digital plot of land? If you buy something in the metaverse, do you have any rights if the platform suddenly disappears? Traditional contracts are too complex and inapplicable to property that does not exist physically.<\/li>\n  <li>Intellectual property problem: How can you protect your brand or copyrighted work when someone can make a perfect copy of your avatar or design in seconds? Traditional copyright enforcement is slow and inefficient for such an environment.<\/li>\n  <li>Jurisdiction problem: Imagine a fraud occurring in a virtual world, with the scammer in one country, the victim in another, and the server on a third continent. Whose laws apply? This creates a \u201clegal black hole\u201d where justice is unclear and user safety is at risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-d0f8b49\" data-block-id=\"d0f8b49\"><style>.stk-d0f8b49 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-d0f8b49 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\"><strong>Legal Design Thinking: A new compass for the legal labyrinth of the metaverse<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-7330a3a\" data-block-id=\"7330a3a\"><style>.stk-7330a3a .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-7330a3a .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">Instead of trying to force the digital world into outdated legal frameworks, Legal Design Thinking (LDT) offers a radically different approach. LDT is a method that combines law, design, and technology with the goal of making legal processes understandable, intuitive, and efficient. LDT does not create new laws but \u201credesigns\u201d them for the new reality.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-4efa560\" data-block-id=\"4efa560\"><style>.stk-4efa560 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-4efa560 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">Here\u2019s how LDT can bring order to the metaverse:<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-ef1e1c2\" data-block-id=\"ef1e1c2\"><style>.stk-ef1e1c2 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-ef1e1c2 .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">1. Visual contracts for digital property: Contracts for buying virtual property can be designed as interactive, visual maps. Users could see property boundaries, access rights, and terms of use without reading hundreds of pages of legal text. This makes justice more accessible.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-6f33a1d\" data-block-id=\"6f33a1d\"><style>.stk-6f33a1d .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-6f33a1d .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">2. Clear licenses for digital creations: Copyright licenses can be presented as simple cards. Inside the virtual asset itself (e.g., an NFT), there could be a visual display of who the author is, what usage rights exist, and whether it can be sold. This solves the issue of transparency and fraud.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-b2e637d\" data-block-id=\"b2e637d\"><style>.stk-b2e637d .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-b2e637d .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">3. Gamification of legal processes: Rules of conduct and laws can be embedded directly into the structure of the virtual world. A user who breaks the rules could receive a visual warning within the game, along with a clear explanation of the consequences. This makes justice part of the user experience rather than an external burden.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-12aa56b\" data-block-id=\"12aa56b\"><style>.stk-12aa56b .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;color:#000000d1 !important;}@media screen and (max-width: 1023px){.stk-12aa56b .stk-block-text__text{font-size:16px !important;}}<\/style><p class=\"stk-block-text__text has-text-color has-text-align-justify-mobile\">Legal chaos in the metaverse is inevitable, but it doesn\u2019t have to be permanent.
